This in-person program will be held in Meeting Room B. 
Join us for a discussion of The Other Americans by Laila Lalami. 
In The Other Americans, the repercussions of a suspicious death bring together a diverse cast of characters whose invisible connections are slowly revealed even while they remain deeply divided by race, religion, or class. It is at once a family saga, a murder mystery, and a love story, infused with questions about America’s complex and complicated cultural legacy. 
Copies of the book are available for pickup starting September 1. Additional copies available for checkout. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
