Event Details

This one-session, low-impact class is for those new to self-defense. Join us on Zoom to learn simple and effective techniques for all abilities to use against some of the most common unarmed attacks. The class will cover situational awareness, de-escalation, and using force as a last resort. Participants will learn a few basic strikes and the key targets on the body, discuss simple defense items you can carry anywhere, and understand how to defend yourself using a cane. The instructor, Peter Honigman, a practicing attorney with more than 30 years of martial arts experience, will also address the legal ramifications of using self-defense.
