The Mount Prospect Public Library Foundation welcomes back acclaimed book dramatist Barbara Rinella for an evening presentation of Fly Girls: How Five Daring Women Defied All Odds and Made Aviation History by Keith O’Brien. Come meet Amelia Earhart together with her fantastic friends and hear the remarkable story of the women who, through their tenacity and love of flying, broke the original glass ceiling and changed the course of air travel.
This performance is a fundraiser for the Mount Prospect Public Library Foundation, which sponsors Library programming and special events. Light refreshments will be served.
