For 1st-5th graders and their families. Come
along with best-selling author Liesl Shurtliff on a quest to discover more
about your favorite fairytales—where they come from, how they change, and what
they mean to us today. This engaging and interactive presentation includes a
reader’s theatre of Grimms’ “Rumpelstiltskin” that is sure to make you laugh!
Liesl Shurtliff is the author of New York Times bestsellers Red, Jack, and Rump, as well as the newly-released Grump: The (Fairly) True Tale of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.
The Book Bin will have copies of her books available for purchase. This program
is sponsored by the Friends of the Library. Children younger than age 9 must be
accompanied by an adult. Please register all attending, including adults and
children.
