Recording artist Fruteland Jackson presents a blues concert for families in honor of African American History Month. He’ll skillfully strum his guitar, ukulele, and banjo while sharing fascinating facts about the blues and its deep roots in American and African-American history and culture. He’s also bringing his harmonica! Fruteland Jackson is the creator of the award-winning Blues in the Schools programs and a recipient of the Blues Foundation’s Keeping the Blues Alive Award. This program is sponsored by the Mount Prospect Public Library Foundation. Please register all attendees, including adults and children.
