In honor of Banned Books Week, an annual event highlighting the importance of free and open access to information, City Lit will spotlight recently banned or challenged books from across the United Sates from the American Library Association’s (ALA) Top 11 Challenged Books of 2018. City Lit has teamed up with the ALA in celebration of Banned Books Week since 2006, performing at special events, libraries, and bookstores in and around Chicago.
